Warning: Must read Mister Monday, Grim Tuesday, and Drowned Wednesday before reading this book.
Sir Thursday is about Arthur Penhaligon and how he restores and clams the Great Maze, gets the key, and saves the Will.
I like how the book starts like this; you are already there. Or
rather a copy of Arthur, a spirit-eater. I like this part
Because Arthur finds out that he can’t go home. Another good part is when Arthur kills Sir Thursday, but I don’t want to ruin the best part of the book. the most boring part of the is when Arthur get cleaned between the ears (loses his memory).

Drowned Wednesday, the 3rd book in The Keys to the Kingdom series, by Garth Nix, is a fantastically original read. (It is the 3rd book in the series, so you do have to start with the first book in the series, Mister Monday.) The characters are very well developed, and it is just as exciting as the previous books in the series. This book is a great blend of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Adventure that you will not forget! I can’t wait to get my hands on the 4rth one in the series!

The Far Reaches: A smog-full Place which is almost completly filled by a pit. Grim Tuesdays pit. A pit that is used to mine nothing, a substance which everything is made of. Arthur is still recovering from monday, but he is already being attacked by Grim Tuesday. As Arthurs life and family are constantly attacked, Arthur must find his way into the house and defeat Grim Tuesday. With a good plot and amazing characters, though with a few down points, Garth Nix makes another amazing book, though it is a notch down from Monday.

First off, I LOVED the setting, in Drake’s homeland. I was delighted by the return of characters that were spontaneous and suprising. This is one of my favorite series. The sharp sarcasm never fails to make me laugh, and the relationship between Aisling and her demon is so refreshing…I couldn’t stop laughing! The humor of the story acts like a catalyst to the mystery surrounding the plot. It was amazing! I would recommend reading the first in the series before this one, so the plot line can be fully appreciated and so there can be an understanding of the relationships that have already developed between the characters. May be I had lot of expectations from Archer as a reader that I was disappointed with his latest book. I have read all his books and have cherished. Archer could have done much more. The story line is highly predictable. The dialogues are flat and unnatural. You can do much better than this. I am expecting to read a great book from an author who has given us books like Kane and Able. Read More »
