I was completely obsessed with Harry potter, but now i am of this series ! I can’t wait for book 5! ‘ and for those of you who don’t know, there is also going to be a 6 and 7!’ I just finished Queste and i think i am going mad! I am telling all my friends about this series! Septimus Heap is definitely for people that wish they could be wizards themselves! My favorite so far was Physik because of all the action! It’s like, BOOM! POW! BOOM! I think that Flyte was just a kickstart for Physik, like the half blood prince was for the deathly hallows. Another thing- there is going to be a Septimus Heap-Magyk movie in 2010! This book was just as entertaining as the first two books. Sookie still manages to keep her sensitivity and great sense of humor and even mature a little more in this story. I love reading about her evolving from a shy barmaid to a stronger and more confident woman. Charlaine Harris leaves a lot of room to continue developing Sookie’s saga in any number of ways.

If you’re looking for an engaging, warm story about believable characters ‘The Botox Diaries’ is for you. It’s a realistic story about suburban life, but it’s also a send-up. (My favorite detail comest at the moment when the doctor who is about to give out injections at a ‘botox party’ first wipes his sweaty hands on his trousers.) And the writing is so smooth- so seamless–that once you start reading this book, you can’t put it down. A perfect escape. [click to continue...]

I’m a big fan of the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series and I think the books just keep getting better. If you read Wolf Brother or Spirit Walker, you’ll love this book.
