As a critic stated on the book’s jacket, I was so disappointed when the book ended, and do not think I will find another book that will capture my attention as this story did. Being a lifelong dog lover, this story just pulled my heartstrings and I could really imagine the possible musings that dogs might have! There are no better friends than dogs and this author really captures this!

Happy Independence day
I am huge fan of Artemis Fowl. I read it and loved every word. Its one of the best Artemis Fowl Book. To read about his ten-year-old self is really a jolt. You think, ‘He really was like that???’ (Especially since most people start out soft and toughen up in their teenage years.)And this time, Artemis has to outsmart the only person who could have a chance of beating him - himself!!! Breaking Dawn was possibly one of the most anticipated books to come out this year, and millions of readers such as myself had hoped for an ending and final book that surpassed the last three in greatness. Unfortunately Breaking Dawn didn’t fulfill the expectations I had hoped it would reach. As if the plot wasn’t bad enough the new characters and old characters were horrible. When reading the end to this saga I felt as if Stephenie Meyer wasn’t there for the final one. I mean the first three books were amazing, and the fourth lacked to even compare. I felt as if Meyer wasn’t even writing this book, and that some other author had taken over and couldn’t grasp Meyer’s basic concepts to this once great storyline. [click to continue...]

Although the book is very insightful, I walked away feeling that if you were not spiritually evolved enough to understand what the author was trying to convey, you could absolve yourself from any past wrong doing, and not be held accountable or responsible for your actions, because after-all being in the presence of now is all that really exists anyway. There were many things I found myself nodding ‘yes’ to and other viewpoints I found myself saying out loud ‘no that doesn’t seem right’. Will have to read the book again in a year or two. The 19th Wife proves to be a book that reveals the hush hush dark secrets of the Mormon faith. The book really wants one to go out there and rescue all these children forced into marriages at teenage age.
