This is another winning book by Barbara Kingsolver. It is informative and highly entertaining. The Kingsolver family was very successful in eating locally and reducing their ‘footprint’ on the ecosystem in comparison with the average American. Please return to your original format – I love Ms. Harris’ books, but I felt that I had waited for a book written by someone else.

Just finished reading this book and found it compelling and entertaining. After reading it I have rediscovered my interest in the Peanuts classic cartoon strip. Think what you may about the author’s portrayal of Sparky, this is a good biography that presents a vivid portrait of a man consumed by his desire to be liked and his life long passion at being the best at his craft.
