You might call me stupid…but I just picked this book because I felt the cover looked really cool. I know I know I keep telling never judge a book by it’s cover or movie

This is the first book of Kate Morton I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked the way the book moves from past to present.The story is really gripping. I have been recommending this book to all my friends and am going to read her first book. Hope I am not disappointed.

The author is revealing the character’s own prejudices, born of her culture, not trying to create them in others. He is speaking with authority from his experiences in Africa – just look at his outstanding bio. The story is beautifully told. It’s like reading poetry. There are some hard moments – the storyline of the woman looking for her missing son is heartbreaking. But there is so much humor and wisdom in it. It was alluring and wonderfully entertaining.
